This pivotal role will analyse current state, evaluate user needs, document requirements and future state to deliver to the project scope, objectives & benefits.  You will act as a business partner to influence the right outcome and fit for purpose solution.

Key accountabilities of this role include the following: 

• Utilise professional business analysis techniques to gather, fully understand and define requirements, rationalise, and optimise these into a workable solution, and document the result
• Provide analytical support for freight procurement activity via data collection to establish baseline spend, analysis of pricing proposals, and commercial to support recommendations
• Contribute to the process of establishing dashboards to facilitate consistent operational reporting of costs & KPIs for CSR group logistics.
• Provision of analysis & insights into transport cost drivers and optimisation initiatives & work closely with operational teams to minimise costs.
• Drive the development of internal & external benchmarks for identified Logistics metrics.

To succeed in this role, you must have the following:

• CPA/CIMA/CA qualified or working towards qualification
• 3+ years in a similar role with significant exposure to transport operations.
• Advance excel skills and hands on experience with using business analytics tools such as Power BI.
• Strong commercial & financial acumen supplemented by Analytical & modelling skills.
• Ability to work in either Waterfall or Agile.
• Ability to interrogate operational and financial models for resilience and robustness
• The ability to present data (both financial and other) clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
• Ability to work in either Waterfall or Agile.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
