In this pivotal role, you will manage production for the plasterboard business to meet CSR’s safety and plant performance, product quality, customer service, profit and shareholder value added guidelines and targets.

You will thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy managing the overall production of a highly complex and labour intensive plant, ensuring all KPIs are achieved, including safety, quality, waste reduction, and cost effectiveness. With your hands on approach you will lead a skilled production group, focusing on driving process and quality improvements through both people and systems.

Your colleagues describe you as being analytical and safety focused with a proven ability to lead a successful team within a manufacturing environment, you'll drive and promote a continuous improvement culture that fosters efficiency, professionalism, energy and a proactive approach that will ensure your team grow from strength to strength. You will ideally have recent supervisory experience in a similar business environment and exposure to driving change combined with engineering knowledge (electrical, mechanical or similar).
