Part of the CSR family, our Construction Systems Business Unit comprises of Cemintel™ Fibre Cement Systems, CSR Hebel and AFS Walling solutions.

We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications including a large range of products and systems that cover internal linings, residential and commercial façades, flooring, and innovative proprietary wall and framing systems.

The Opportunity

We are searching for a Residential Business Development Manager to join our sales team in Scoresby.

Reporting to the Residential Sales Manager, your main responsibility will be to execute the Construction Systems (CS: Hebel, Cemintel and AFS) strategy in the residential-detached and multi-residential segments with a focus on the Eastern Melbourne area.

This position will be perfect for a sales professional who is driven, loves the chase of sales to grow market share and is strategic with their approach to customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieve the residential sales strategy and goals
  • Strengthen builder and contractor relationships to deliver repeat business
  • Grow Sales by converting multi-residential projects
  • Management of project tracking, pricing, product knowledge
  • Work closely with key Resellers and Contractors to convert sales opportunities
  • Grow Adoption by Major Project Builders and Multi-Res Builders
  • Identify and target suitable opportunities within the multi-residential space.
  • Develop and implement growth plans with key customers that result in continuous share growth of customers across the product portfolio

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the building industry, exposure to volume and project builders will be highly regarded
  • A customer centric approach and ability to build strong relationships
  • A willingness to engage in the technical aspects of construction
  • An ability to understand a market segment, the players, the channels, the competition and be able to identify target opportunities and seek out key contacts
  • Engineering or Building Qualifications and/ or a long and strong track record in this endeavour are prerequisites for the role.
  • Experience with installation sub-contract services and related contractors
