Trade Counter Sales/Warehouse Operator – Mornington

The Opportunity 

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer centric Trade Counter Sales / Warehouse Operator to join our Mornington Gyprock Trade Centre. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for identifying and exploring new opportunities for CSR to grow the business by selling the benefits of our products to builders, contractors, architects, designers and DIY customers.

Treating our business like your own, you will work closely with your customers to understand their businesses and help them to succeed, whilst working with our close-knit team to provide an exceptional customer experience and ensure the highest warehousing standards are maintained.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers (walk in, email and phone);
  • Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping;
  • Loading and unloading customer vehicles;
  • Upselling and cross-selling through understand customers’ needs and offer products & solutions to suit their requirements;
  • Processing orders, invoices, payments and stock control.
  • Maintaining high standards of displays and merchandising in our store.

  • Friendly, engaging, confident and resilient
  • Strong customer service & retail sales experience
  • Flexible attitude and enjoys a challenge – “No job too small, no task too great”
  • Enjoys working in a tight-knit team environment
  • Physically fit – comfortable doing a 25kg single lift
  • Valid forklift license
  • Great computer skills

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday: 06:00am to 4:00pm.
