Senior Business Analyst - North Ryde

Part of the CSR family, our Construction Systems Business Unit comprises of Cemintel™ Fibre Cement Systems, CSR Hebel and AFS Walling solutions. We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications including a large range of products and systems that cover internal linings, residential and commercial façades, flooring, and innovative proprietary wall and framing systems.

The opportunity

We currently have a full-time permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Business Analyst in North Ryde.

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, you will primarily be responsible for functional design, implementation and support of supply chain and operations solutions with a specific focus on SAP platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Actively contribute to Business Systems strategy and its execution.
  • Work closely with the business to analyse and capture business requirements, perform process mapping and develop system specification documents for projects and improvements.
  • Lead the efforts in development, implementation and adoption of solutions in Operations and Supply Chain areas.
  • Act as a key point of contact and conduit between business and technology teams.
  • Drive standardisation and simplification of systems and processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide business regular insights and analysis to drive operational effectiveness and performance.
  • Develop system checks and controls to ensure sound governance.
  • Provide support and improve users’ capability through structured training. 

What will make you an excellent fit for this role?

  • Degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of SAP experience in Supply Chain and Operations modules (SAP MM, LE & preferably PP).
  • 4-5 SAP full life cycle implementations in the above discipline with a minimum of 3 years of support experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to articulate complex situations and information clearly.
  • Proven knowledge in functional requirements and technical specifications writing and unit/user testing
  • Effective vendor and stakeholder management
  • Forward-looking, collaborative and solutions-focused behavioural style
