The opportunity  

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Transport Software Applications Project in the Logistics Transformation. It is an important complex, cross functional and cross-business unit project.  

This role would manage and ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes as they relate to scope, quality, budget, resources and timelines of the project. We need an energetic and passionate expert who has strong demonstratable experience in project management of logistics systems. 

Your duties will include: 

  • Coordinate and manage scope definition, implementation planning, process mapping and resource forecasting throughout the project 

  • Prepare and manage project plans (activities, milestones, resource forecasting and tracking, issues and risks etc).  

  • Ensuring the project meets timing, quality, scope and financial targets 

  • Effectively manage resources assigned to projects in terms of time management, skill requirements and availability 

  • Understanding the business drivers and the application to ensure the desired outcomes are realised 

  • Provision of regular communications (e.g. steering committees, status reports) 

  • Identification, tracking and reporting of project activities, stakeholders, costs, issues & risks throughout project lifecycle. 

We are looking for someone with: 

  • Minimum 7 years of hands on experience on leading TMS platforms (Oracle, Blue Yonder, SAP, etcwith minimum of 3 full implementation of any Transport Management system 

  • Excellent collaboration skills with ability to communicate clearly to project stakeholders at various levels both internally and externally 

  • Sound knowledge of supply chain and international transportation and logistics processes, systems (TMS and WMS) and practices 

  • Experience in conducting key user workshops, training, SOP creation, conducting UATs and go-lives is required 

  • Good business and systems analysis skills and proven track record of delivering within deadlines in complex stakeholder environments
