The Opportunity

We are searching for a Residential Sales Manager to join our VIC sales team in Scoresby. Reporting into the Regional General Manager VIC, your main responsibility will be to grow our market share of our product portfolio in the residential detached and multi res market segments while identifying and facilitating business growth opportunities with key Customers.

This position will be perfect for a sales professional who is driven, loves the chase of sales to grow market share and is strategic with their approach to customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and engage the residential sales team to execute the sales strategy and goals.
  • Grow adoption by Major Project Builders and Multi-Res Builders.
  • Grow Building adoption.
  • Promote and gain acceptance of current and new initiatives in the Res segment in line with the business Strategy when systems are launched.
  • Target suitable CS opportunities within in the VIC Multires space.
  • Support sales and marketing teams in gaining market insights
  • Develop and implement growth plans with key customers that result in continuous share growth of customer across the product portfolio
  • Build rapport and insights with key customers and explore and follow through on opportunities across other CSR divisions.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Qualifications

  • Engineering, Business or Construction qualifications preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years sales experience including a track record of successfully managing a sales team for at least 5 years of these years
  • Have an in depth understanding of the Residential market and in particular how builders sell and market their homes and how to influence that.
  • An understanding on how developer and/or council covenants influence our sales prospects and be able to convince them in the versatility of our products.
  • Ability to feedback into the residential innovation team insights so that we prioritise development to maximise our success in this area.
  • Be results oriented, organised and disciplined to comply with company policy but exercise initiative to ensure targets are met without compromising the effectiveness of other staff.
